Exceleration Music has entered into a strategic partnership with Atlanta-based Christian hip-hop label Reach Records, co-founded by Grammy-winning rapper Lecrae.
Under the agreement, Exceleration’s distribution arm, Redeye Worldwide, will provide global physical and digital distribution for Reach’s new releases, alongside marketing and operational support.
The partnership covers music released from 2026 onward while allowing Reach to retain its existing ownership, leadership and creative control. Reach becomes Exceleration’s first hip-hop and Christian music label partner.
The first release under the partnership is Clean, a new single by US poet and rapper Jackie Hill Perry. The track debuted at the Holy Smoke Festival on August 8 and will receive a full digital release on August 21.
Lecrae said the partnership will help Reach invest further in Christian hip-hop artists and build infrastructure to expand the genre’s global impact.
Founded in 2004, Reach Records has become one of the leading names in Christian hip-hop. Exceleration Music, founded in 2021, has expanded its independent music portfolio through acquisitions and its distribution operations.
The partnership comes as Reach faces separate legal proceedings involving UMG’s Capitol CMG over an alleged abandoned acquisition. Both companies say the new Exceleration partnership is unrelated to that litigation.
